If you're interested, the first section of my yet-untitled novel (3 chapters long) is posted on Scribd here and can be read for free. It was inspired by this gorgeous song by Lila Downs, off of the Frida soundtrack (love it!). Lila I stole your song title for my chapter but I named her mother after you!
The next section is set in Paris five years later. It's the story of the violet flowers in the vat of olive oil.
